This morning we rode 8km to basecamp against a headwind on a road, we
came back on a awesome singletrack with a strong tailwind downhill!
Life is good.

The singletrack with the best view

We Climbed up to 5200m via 42 switchbacks, where we were rewarded by a
view of everest and her friends again, then wait for it.. The
singletrack with probably the best view in the world dropping down to
4200m staring everest in the eye the whole track, it was fast and me
and Carine let the way naturally being singletrack minded :) it
couldn't believe how luckly we were, it felt like a dream. Here is my
bike at the bottom with a HUGE grin!!

We are approching everest in the next 2 days, I saw the mother of all
mountains today for the first time coming around a corner on my bike
and bust out in tears when her gentle errette brushed upon my naked
eyes. She is so beautiful! Will get better photos as we are riding to
basecamp the next 2 days.
